As we explained earlier in this booklet, (see page three) more than half of all secondary-aged pupils currently have to travel outside the borough to attend classes.
because the council has sold the schools for vast profit to developers of loft apartments, SHAMEFUL Poor kids having to add all that travel time onto an already long and exhausting day. Obviously the councillors pocket lining activities are far more important to them than the well being of Lambeth's young people
This is because previous councils sold off school sites for 'development' and profit. The council should not dispose of any more property assets in this way.

This is because previous councils sold off school sites for 'development' and profit. The council should not dispose of any more property assets in this way.
